Welcome to STUDY MATE. By accessing or using our website and tutoring services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before enrolling or using any of our services.

1. General Information

STUDY MATE provides personalised tutoring and educational support services to students. These terms govern your use of our website, communication channels and all related services provided by STUDY MATE. 

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

2. Tutoring Services

  • All tutoring sessions are designed to support the student's learning objectives

  • Students are expected to attend sessions on time and come prepared with necessary materials.

  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay informed about their child's progress. 

  • STUDY MATE reserves the right to assign or reassign tutors as necessary to maintain service quality.

3. Scheduling and Cancellations 

  • Sessions must be scheduled in advance.

  • A minimum of 15 minutes' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Cancellations made with less that 15minutes notice may be charged in full.

  • If a tutor cancels a session, a make-up session will be arranged at no additional cost.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Payment must be made before or at the time of service, as agreed upon during enrolment.

  • Fees may vary depending on subject, duration and format.

  • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by STUDY MATE.

  • STUDY MATE reserves the right to update pricing at any time, with notice provided to clients.

5. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfull and maintain a positive learning environment

STUDY MATE reserves the right to suspended or terminate services if a student engages in disrespectful, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

 

6. Confidentially and Privacy

We vale your privacy. All personal information shared with STUDY MATE is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Tutors are required to maintain the confidentiality of all student information and academic materials.

7. Limitation of Liability

While our tutors strive to provide the highest quality educational support, STUDY MATE cannot guarantee specific academic results.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of our services or website.

 

8. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during tutoring sessions including worksheets, handouts and online resources, are property of STUDY MATE.

They may not be reproduced, distributed or shared without written permission.

 

9. Updates to Terms

STUDY MATE may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date on top of this page.​
